Jill Berg, Jill's Classic Cabinetry
Designer Qualifications
I took my first NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Assn) course in San Francisco in 1980. I managed the cabinet department at Boise Cascade in Santa Rosa for two years before moving to Tahoe. I created and managed the cabinet department at the South Tahoe Meeks Lumber from 1986 through 1998. In 1995, I took the NKBA course for Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and continue my education with various NKBA, design and CAD seminars.
In 1998, I opened Jill's Classic Cabinetry with a burning desire to do it the right way. In this world of warehouses, discount pricing and incomplete service, my goal is to exceed the expectations of my clients by providing the highest level of design expertise, products of the greatest value and the utmost level of service.
From Glenbrook to Kirkwood, the West Shore to Gardnerville and the Sierra Tract to Beach Drive, I know the neighborhoods, the residents and the businesses of the Lake Tahoe region.
With twenty years in this community, I have developed working and personal relationships with the top contractors, tradesmen and materials suppliers in the area.
Further, I specialize in successful collaborations with architects, interior designers, tradesmen as well as the client to create exceptional projects. This means combining a top-notch design with materials of the highest quality and a first-class installation.
Most importantly, with 20 years design experience, I find there are no insurmountable problems only creative solutions.
In addition to formal design training, I have learned a lifetime of practical knowledge from working with hundreds of diverse clients and their unique projects.
I also have commercial clients. I have created multi-room doctors offices, an attorney's conference room and sophisticated home offices. From little rustic kitchens and baths to exotic, lake-front estates, I create "kitchens and spaces that work" for client after client. And I look forward to doing the same for you!
